I Love FREE Stuff at Walgreens!

If you are new to this whole couponing thing, you really should start out with some drug store shopping. There is nothing like walking into a CVS or Walgreens, and coming out with FREE or almost FREE stuff. And, it can be fool-proof...if you plan ahead. One key is looking at the coupon match-ups that many people post...it will list specifically what the sale price of an item is, which coupon(s) you should match up with it, and what your final price will be.

I just read about this over at Carrie's blog, Money Saving Methods:

Apparently, FTD Florists have designated a certain date every year as "Good Neighbor Day." On this day, participating florists will give you a FREE flower bouquet...one flower to keep for yourself and the rest to give away to a friend/neighbor.

The date this year is Wednesday, September 9th. Unfortunately, there are no florists in my area that are doing it, but there is quite a long list of participating shops, so you should check to see if there is one near you here.

What a fun thing that would be to surprise a friend with a bouquet of flowers...or for any men reading this...for your wives!!

Tonight should be the night when Old Navy Weekly updates their "coupon hunt."

Apparently, there will not be any $75.00 off of $100 coupons, but there will be $65.00 off of $100 coupons. They will update at any time tonight, so keep watching.

If you are not familiar with Old Navy Weekly, it is a site that Old Navy updates weekly with amazing coupons - the only trick is that you have to "find" them. You have to move your mouse around the site, and move stuff or click on stuff to retrieve the coupons...it's kind of fun and addicting! For example, one week if you clicked on the blinking taillight of the mini van, you got a coupon for $75.00 off of $100. If you took the white heart off of one of the manequins shirts and put it on another shirt, you got a 10% off coupon...Have fun and happy hunting!
