Hooray for Super Double Coupons at KMart

Hooray! Our Iron Mountain, MI K Mart is having their Super Double Coupon sale again July 5-11th! (To find out if your local K Mart is having this sale, go to their website here, and click on "Weekly Ad" on the top menu. It will be on the front page of one of your store's weekly flyers if they are participating.)

There are some new rules like you can only use 10 coupons, and your order must be $25.00 before coupons, so make sure you read the fine print. (They sure are making this harder for us!) However, you might be lucky, and your store might not care about the fine print. I know when I asked last time if I had to limit it to 20 coupons, they said they were not picky about it.

If you decide to do this, let me give you a few tips that really helped me:

1. Make a list with the item, the price of the item, the amount of your coupon, etc.
2. Pull out the coupons you plan to use and put them in a separate bag.
3. Don't get too sidetracked from your list (you may spend more than you mean to), but DO check the clearance racks in the food and toiletry departments - I have gotten many free things there with the double coupons!

I love great coupons for products that I ALWAYS need!! Here is a GREAT coupon for $2.00 off one package (any size) of Angel Soft toilet paper or Sparkle paper towels! Don't forget to print it twice by hitting the back button on your browser. Also, if you can't print it in one (for example, Internet Explorer), try opening up a different one (such as Firefox).

*Coupon Hint for Newbies: Any time a high-value coupon is for "any size" it is usually a better deal to get the smaller size packages...not always, but most of the time. By printing this coupon twice, you might do better to purchase two 4-packs of toilet paper with two coupons rather than two 8-packs of toilet paper...do your math...it might not be if the larger packs are on sale!

Old Navy News...

For all of us who have been patiently waiting for the next round of Old Navy Weekly coupons to come out, there is a rumor that they will probably refresh them either late tonight or early tomorrow morning...I'm not going to stay up extra late for them, but if I am still up around 11 or 12:00 tonight, you can bet I'll be trying to get that $65 off of $100 coupon!

For those of you who haven't heard about this special promotion from Old Navy, it is basically a special site where they frequently hide many coupons (from high value coupons to 15% off coupons). You have to actually move things or click on things on the site to find the coupons, and they go fast!!

The other rumor is that they have decided to pull the $1.00 Old Navy T-Shirt Deal originally advertised for tomorrow. So if you were planning on heading out for that deal, you might be paying full price. Sorry for that inconvenience!
