One of the great things about having a blog is being involved with groups like the
Modern Mom Insiders. I love trying out new products and being able to tell you all about them.
One day before our 20-something-hour trip down to South Carolina, I received a
VTech MobiGo Touch Learning System to try out from the
Modern Mom Insiders group and VTech. What perfect timing! Both of my girls have Leapsters, so I was hoping that this would be something that my 3-year old boy would be able to play with.
From the beginning, we were all very impressed with the MobiGo. The "touch controlled screen" allows the kids to learn the same technology that many of our adult technologies provide. It also uses a QWERTY keyboard so they are learning the correct placement of the letters on the keyboard for when they begin typing.
While my 3-year old was not able to play all of the games on the MobiGo, there were games that were at his level, while still offering some more advanced games that even my 7-year old enjoyed. The system came with one cartridge that had seven games. They also are offering an online store that is supposed to be offering FREE games and content that you can download for your MobiGo system. My only disappointment was that the FREE games were not available for us to try on our trip...hopefully they will add them soon.
If you are interested in learning more about the MobiGo system, you can read more about it on their site here. You can also enter there for a chance to win one of ten MobiGo systems!
