This looks interesting! Right now, many Sage Hotels (Marriott, Sheraton, and others) are offering a free night's stay for those who have volunteered 8 hours or more of time to a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. This definitely looks like something that would be worth checking into. Apparently, each location only has a limited number that they can give away, and after that they just give you 50% off. It looks like you need to book it through the "contact person" that is listed on the state/location list, and then bring in a signed letter on letterhead from the organization!Go here for more details and here for a list of states/hotels that are participating.
