Remember the amazing $10.00 off a $20.00 purchase coupon that we heard about yesterday? Well, now it appears that K Mart is saying that this is not valid. It is not clear whether or not it was fraudulent, or if K Mart simply made a mistake making it available publicly (since it appeared to be from their website.) Either way, I would suggest not using it.
That is so disappointing. I was super excited to go stock up on diapers and toilet paper with these coupons! Not to mention the wasted printer ink!:)
I'm curious...did any of you try to use these? Did they beep, were they accepted? I know that one of my friends was planning on shopping there today with it, so I am interested to see what they said...

Hi Spend Freely...I tried it today. It beeped and said "reward not found". The assistant manager (I'm assuming) came over to look at it, then called the manager on duty to look at it. They both read it and did a coupon over-ride. So, I got a good deal, but I'm assuming they'll not be accepting them very soon at the Ir. Mt. store. That seemed like the first one they've seen printed. I'm sure they'll be contacting someone about the "printable coupon". LS Bummer, I was excited to print more. :(
My mom and dad tried it this morning hoping to get some cheap diapers for Benjamin and Katie before they leave for Scotland...the coupon wouldn't go through so they ended up leaving empty handed. I'm SOOOOOO bummed. :(
I used it today at the KM here in TN to get Huggies. It came up with the "reward not found" as well. The cashier called the service desk girl over and she eventually did an override after trying it herself several times. She said she had seen 3 of the coupons in "the bag" yesterday when she was working the "back room." I also used 2 $3 Huggies coupons after the KM coupon and ended up paying $4 for 2 packs of Huggies Supremes. However, I did not get the $3 catalina coupon that I had seen mentioned last night. I had also thrown in a clearance item marked $1 to put the purchase over the $20 mark, and kept thinking the total was higher than I expected but was distracted by them trying to get the coupon to take. When I got home I realized the clearance item rang up $3.50!! I'll be returning that for a price adjustment tomorrow since we are headed out that direction again! I've got another KMart coupon and set of Huggies coupons, so I'll be interested to see what tomorrow brings at the register.
Wow! Interesting to hear how some of your K Mart stores accepted them and some didn't. My personal opinion (and I guess I can say it since it is my blog:)) is that if K Mart has "messed up" and accidentally made a coupon meant for certain stores public, that they should honor it. Otherwise, they need to properly label/protect their coupons better...just my thoughts!:)
I ran in to the same KM that I was in yesterday bc of a return and price adjustment, and I was hoping to pick up some more diapers with the coupon. They had signs plastered all over the place with a picture of the coupon stating "Not Valid in TN." I asked the girl at the service counter what was up and she said the best they can tell someone hacked the KM website and took a coupon that was valid for NY KMs and changed it to say it was valid everywhere. She said she had been in multiple "discussions" with customers today. I told her I had used it yesterday and that it didn't look very good for KM since it came directly from their website. She agreed and said it was a huge mess. Glad I was able to use it yesterday!
I live in Chicago and i just used these coupons ( $10.00 off for $20.00 purchase ). I'm very please.

So happy for you! It came out later that they accidentally made these "public" coupons, then retracted and said that they were just for certain parts of Illinois and New York. Glad you have been able to get some deals!
