My favorite part about fall is the smell in the air and the leaves changing colors - although after growing up in Connecticut and enjoying the brilliant foliage there in New England, it's just not the same here in northern Illinois.
My favorite part of fall is seeing how the Lord brings a season to a close while another one begins. I also love wearing sweaters, drinking apple cider and making caramel apples. The foliage isn't as pretty here as it is back east but I still find the beauty in the drying corn and soy beans.
Oh ONE favorite! Hard to pick! But I love the wonderful colors of the leaves on the trees! (which is less seen in the woods of WI) And the cool weather makes it so nice to snuggle into a warm sweatshirt with a warm cup of tea!! YAY for fall!
My favorite part of fall is getting out the new candles to burn and enjoying the cinnamon and pumpkin scents.

I love the crisp fall air, the beautifully colored leaves in the trees and the crackle of the leaves as you walk through them on the ground.
My favorite thing about fall is fresh apples...homemade applesauce, apple pies, apple cider...although I love the crisp mornings as well (although we don't usually get those until late October down here in Georgia!).

The thing that I love most about autumn is the change in nature - especially the leaves coloring & then falling which makes it much easier to spot hawks, eagles, & other fascinating birds.

There is something about the smell of the crisp, fall air, the nostalgia of the first of school, the colors of the leaves, memories of apple picking with my family, the smell of burning pumpkin spice candles. There are so many things to love about fall, it is my favorite season!

My favorite thing about fall is the weather changing from unbearable to a sigh of relief! And, the leaves turn some beautiful colors.
