Best memory was when I celebrated at McDonald's when I was in about 2nd or 3rd Grade and I was home on furlough (my parents were missionaries in Brazil).

My best memory was the surprise party my best friend planned for me in 9th grade. She took me to the mall to distract me while friends arrived at her house. I had no clue about the surprise, so I was determined to enjoy my time at the mall. It was so difficult for her to get me to stop shopping that we arrived at my party an hour late!

I had a campout in my backyard for my 10th birthday. We had so much fun, but said the person who fell asleep first, would end up with lipstick on their face. So.....we ended up fighting. But, it is definitely my MOST MEMORABLE!!

My best birthday was when I went to school and all of my friends surrounded me before my best friend gave me the thing I REALLY wanted -an Nintendo DS lite. I couldn't believe it and I was incredibly happy. For me, it was better than any party that could have been thrown.

My 25th birthday was a great one - we left for a fun vacation with a group of family & friends that day but had a wonderful party the night before. My (now) husband & his brother gave me 25 beautiful lavender roses. I loved them so much that I chose the same roses for my bouquet when we were married last July.
Happy birthday to you, Trisha & thanks for hosting a giveaway!

My favorite birthday memory is from the 2nd grade. My mom made cupcakes and brought them to school, and I thought that was pretty much the end of our celebrating. My mom always asked us what we wanted to eat for our birthday meal, so I told her Lasagna--my favorite! That night as we were getting dinner ready the doorbell rang. My mom asked me to get it. When I opened the door, there stood my 2nd grade teacher and her husband (the principal)! She asked if there was a birthday girl in the home, and then handed me a pretty carnation (my flower of choice from then on)! What a delightful surprise, and an enjoyable evening. I still have pictures from that night!

A special memory is... My first year of college I was terribly homesick. I went to college 8 hours away from home. My older brother and his girlfriend surprised me and brought me home. They took care of all my passes to get out of classes and everything! It was a wonderful surprise and it sure helped me to get through the rest of the semester! What a blessing!

my best birthday was my 16th. I got a brand new black mazda mx6. My parents had a tea for me and all of the women in my family and my girlfriends were there. It was a great year!

my best birthday memory was my sweet 16 when my whole family took me out to eat. My Dad bought champagne for everyone and it was my first taste ever. My family made it very special. We went to Max and Erma;s when they had phones at every table so the whole restaurant called me to wish me a happy birthday.

My best birthday memories are the cakes mom would make each year. My favorite was a flower basket cake.

Actually, my VERY most memorable birthday was one I'd like to forget. I was very pregnant w/ our twin girls and VERY hormonal, and my husband FORGOT, like actually FORGOT that it was my birthday. Not just "I forgot your present" but he didnt' even know it was my birthday. I cried all day long. He made me a cake that night when I was too tired to eat any of it. Oh well. I forgave him and he's celebrated with enthusiasm ever since, but that will always be the most memorable birthday.

My best birthday is when my friends kidnapped me and drove me (blindfolded)to Denny's for breakfast. We had so much fun singing, tasting each others food & talking "girl talk." Nothing compares to girl bonding!

My family was never really into celebrating birthdays, so I honestly can't say I have a most memorable one. I enjoy every birthday now, just being with my family.

PS Coming to Springfest in a couple weeks. Will you be around? Would love to meet you. Of course, I might be tempted to sneak away and have you take me shopping. :)

One year in elementary our school had a snow day on my birthday! Our whole family went out to a sledding hill and sledded all day.
